Meet the Orientation Adventure Staff

OA is a student-driven program. In collaboration with the program's director, each year three undergraduates or recent grads work part-time during the spring and full-time through summer to plan even the finest of details for the trip.

Lily Shaffer '15

Home City, State: Reading, MA

Major, Minor, etc.: Medical Anthropology, Minor in Environmental Analysis

I am at Pitzer because... I love the setup of the consortium.  I like the personalities of each school and having the ability to move throughout them.  It's the perfect combination between advantages of a small college--community, being close with professors, knowing the people you work and live with--while having the other schools to escape to. I chose Pitzer because its values align with mine the most.

Outside of class I... rock climb, play in a folk band, work in the Grove House, cycle, cook.

My favorite place in S. California is... San Onofre

Sonal Jessel '15

Outside of class I... Paint, play sports, read
